The Apollo Sieve Bend Box Type Intake Screen is a high-performance curved screen designed for efficient pre-filtration and solid separation. Its V-wire curved profile allows water to flow tangentially across the screen surface, enabling effective separation of solids while maintaining stable flow rates.
The box-type design enhances structural strength and allows easy integration into intake channels, pump stations, and pretreatment systems. This screen is especially suitable for applications requiring high throughput with minimal clogging.

Working Principle

Raw water flows over the curved surface of the sieve bend screen. Due to the curved geometry and gravity-assisted flow, water passes through the V-wire slots while solids are carried forward and discharged separately.
The wedge wire profile prevents particles from becoming lodged within the slots, ensuring continuous operation with reduced maintenance. The result is efficient pre-filtration, stable flow, and dependable performance even under fluctuating loads.
