PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Reliable Screening for STPs & Stormwater Channels

The Manual Bar Screen is a simple, robust, and cost-effective solution for removing large floating solids and debris from wastewater. Ideal for small to medium-flow installations, this fixed bar screen is installed at an inclined angle within the channel and manually raked at regular intervals. With no mechanical components and minimal maintenance, it offers an economical and reliable screening option for sewage treatment plants, pumping stations, and stormwater drainage systems.

Working Principle

Wastewater flows through the inclined bars, trapping solids such as rags, plastics, leaves, and other coarse debris. As screenings accumulate, the operator manually removes the material using a rake or hook, ensuring uninterrupted flow and protecting downstream units like pumps and treatment processes from clogging and damage.
