Working Principle

1 Influent Entry Wastewater enters the channel and flows toward the screen. The fixed bars are positioned vertically at an angle of 70°–85° to maximize hydraulic efficiency.
2 Solid Retention Solids larger than the pre-selected bar spacing are trapped on the screen surface.
3 Rake Engagement Multiple rakes attached to a chain mechanism travel downward and interlock precisely with the bar rack.
4 Debris Lifting As the chain rotates, the rakes lift trapped solids upward along the guide tracks.
5 Debris Discharge A top-mounted scraper wipes the debris off the rake, dropping it into a conveyor, chute, or waste collection bin.
6 Return Cycle Cleaned rakes travel downward through a guided path, ensuring debris does not re-enter the channel.
7 Continuous Cleaning Automated control ensures uninterrupted screening without manual intervention.
